Writing & Uploading a Script

  • Login to SPARC Media Hub using your favourite browser
  • Select AdminCP from the sidebar (If you do not see AdminCP, you do not have sufficient permissions)
  • Select Creative Management from the sub menu. (If you do not see Creative Management, you do not have sufficient permissions)
  • Select Creative Dashboard (If you do not see Creative Management, you do not have sufficient permissions) 
  • Ensure the piece of creative's status is set to "In Writing".

  • Click the client name on the piece of creative you'd like to write/upload a script for. 
  • In the top right-hand corner you'll see two buttons. "Write Script" and "Upload Script".

  • If you'd like to start writing a script from scratch using SPARC Media Hub's built in script writer click "Write Script". If you'd like to upload a document file that was created using another word processor i.e - Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, Apple Pages, etc. Click "Upload Script". 

Writing a Script Directly in RadioPromoHub

The following Steps will show how to write and send a script for approval using SPARC Media Hub's built in script editor. (For instructions on uploading existing documents, scroll down)

  • Once you're in the information section of a piece of creative (access this by clicking the client name on the creative dashboard) click "Write Script" in the top right hand corner.

  • A pop up window will appear.
  • Give your script a name under the "Script Label". Then click the "Write New Script" button on the right of your script name.

  • The first section is where you’ll see your script a name. This is also where you add any tags for the script. This will make finding similar scripts a breeze. This comes into play when the writers need a bit of inspiration they can search tags like “Fall” or “Sale” or “Car Dealer” as an example.

  • The second section is the actual word processor. This is where you’ll write the script. This section also tracks approx. how long a script will take to read. You can highlight text, bold text, italicize, change the font size and so on. The script is also auto saved every minute but you can click Save Script at any time to make sure you don’t lose anything!

  • The "Creative Request Details" section shows you all the details from the new copy request. This shows up just on the right of the script so all the information you need it right there while you write.

  • And the final section is the Thesaurus. If your writers are finding their script is repetitive and they just want to quickly find some replacement words, we’re here for them!

  • Once the script is written and you're ready to send to the sales rep for approval, click Send Script(s) for approval on the right-hand side directly above the thesaurus.
  • A pop up window will appear will a list of all the scripts you've written for this order. If you've only written one, only one will appear. 
  • Using the checkboxes on the left of each script, check off which script(s) you'd like to send for approval. 
  • Once your script(s) are checked off click the "Send for Approval Button on the pop up window. 

  • The sales rep now has the script. 

Uploading a Script

The following steps are instructions on how to upload a script as a document instead of using SPARC Media Hub's built in script writer. 

 

  • Once you're in the information section of a piece of creative (access this by clicking the client name on the creative dashboard) click "Upload Script" in the top right hand corner.

  • A field will appear allwoing you to upload documents. Click "Browse..." to locate the file on your computer. 

If you need to upload multiple documents click "+ Script" on the right-hand side.

  • Once all your script are uploaded click "Upload Scripts"
  • The rep now has the script

 

Revisions

If a script revision is made the order will be sent back to "Received" with a note that states a a revision has been made. 

  • To get the revision info click the client name on the order to open the details section. 
  • Scroll down, you'll see "Revision Notes" directly above the original copy points. 

  • To write/upload a script with the revisions following the previous steps for writing/uploading scripts.
